Edible botanical berries include bananas, plantains, blueberries, cranberries, coffee berries, gooseberries, red‑black‑white currants, tomatoes, grapes, and peppers (Capsicum). In 2001 bananas and citrus together accounted for over 25 % of the value of world fruit and vegetable exports, with citrus contributing the larger share.
